Amber Care

Amber stones and amber pieces are flammable, sensitive to heat and effect of chemical substances; therefore it is very important to stay with certain care rules. Do not plunge amber pieces into water and do not keep them near hot things -i.e., stove, iron, bulb, etc. Like other things amber can lose its color as the time pass by if exposed to the direct light, so it is recommended to store it in places protected from the direct sun light. In the course of time, amber adornments can lose their gloss from the contact with skin; however, it is very easy to make it shine again by rubbing the adornments against woolen, suede or velvet fabric.
